Embrace Change

How's your summer wrapping up? I hope it’s been both fulfilling and rejuvenating. For me, I’ve made a big move from the healing valley of Mānoa to a more urban setting near downtown Honolulu. It felt intimidating at first, but now it’s unfolding in ways I never expected —challenging, yet rewarding.

This change has had me thinking a lot about the pace of life, especially during these busy summer months. Have you found yourself stretched too thin in both your personal and professional life? Maybe you even felt a sense of relief when the kids went back to school, finally giving you space to focus on work.

It's so easy to overcommit and push ourselves too hard, but true leadership is built from within — thriving beyond burnout, working smarter, and navigating life’s changes with confidence. And in the process, we have to remember to allow ourselves the grace to grow at our own pace.

Here are a few practices that have supported me:

  • Establish morning rituals and set clear boundaries to protect your energy.

  • Focus on what truly moves the needle, and release what doesn’t serve your goals.

  • Get comfortable saying no to things that pull you off course.

  • Trust in your own creativity and resilience to lead you through uncertain times.

Most importantly, give yourself room to breathe and recalibrate — because creating sustainable leadership requires the capacity to evolve with strength and grace.

If this resonates with you, I invite you to an intimate gathering designed to deepen these practices.

This retreat is by invitation only, and there are just a few spots left. I’m personally selecting a small group of leaders who are ready to cultivate strong ecosystems of leadership from the inside out. If you feel called to join us, write to me here. It’s going to be great.
